Making up for lost time
Just trying to make up for lost time. Here are a few more. A better picture of the tutu and some white background practice shots. In case you are interested in making your own tutu, here are the quick and dirty instructions:
You will need:
Tulle - any color, I used 5 yards on this tutu in one color (peach) and then I used maybe a yard in the white.
Elastic or ribbon (you pick)
1) Cut your tulle straight across your tulle, widthwise (I left it folded) in 4-6 inch strips
2) If you have a small child, measure your elastic or ribbon and cut it.
3) Stretch your elastic or ribbon along the back of a chair and tie so that it doesn't slip.
4) start putting your tulle on the elastic or ribbon, I folded it in half (remember it is still folded from when you bought it) and tied it to the elastic or ribbon. Do this with all of your tulle, alternating colors if you use more than one. After you have it all together, either sew the ends of the elastic together and adjust your tulle to cover any exposed elastic. Add more tulle if you need to.
Hope this makes sense.
