Infrared (IR)

I stated before that I am beginning to love infrared (IR). I love the contrast the look, the feel, the grain, everything. Here are a few of my most recent IR converted pictures. I found the trick to really great IR pictures is that you need big fluffy clouds, blue skies and sun. Shade and overcast do not convert as well.

Traditional IR was done with film cameras. Using both the light we can see and the longer length in-frared radiation. Everything looks odd in IR, vegetation looks bright and skies look dark.
